Helping Others as a Chief Medical NCO

The United States Army is set up like most good organizations. They have many levels of command in which orders are passed down and concerns are sent up the chain of command. The Army has one of the most solid performance capabilities when it comes to being able to accomplish its missions. The work of the Chief Medical Non Commissioned Officer (NCO) is vital to the success of the medical mission carried out every day.

What You Will do

As a Chief Medical NCO in the US Army you will be working as a liaison between the command and the enlisted men and women. This means making sure that all commands are carried out as well as making suggestions to supervisors. You will be called upon to tackle issues as they arise as well as making sure all enlisted personnel under your command are performing their duties.

Where You Will Serve

You will perform your duties anywhere there is a medical unit. This can include large medical facilities, short term base units as well as medical units in the field. Your training will help you to be ready for any service which you might be assigned to.

You may even be called upon to make recommendations to upper command which will have you off base or working with employees of the Pentagon. This is because of the long road you will have to go through to get to this career. Click on the link above for more information.
