How to be a Railways Operations Crewmember

The United States Army uses trains every day in order to disperse troops and equipment. These are used not only in the United States. They are also used in foreign countries where this is the main form of travel available. In many cases, being able to use the railways is more involved than just making sure that the engines are being operated properly. It is about making sure that the rails are being properly maintained. This is all a part of being a member of the railways operations crew.
