A Light Moment

Many times when you think about conferences you imagine many people sitting perfectly still or debating, but you always imagine it being the type of thing where you do not expect to be walking down a hall corridor and hear laughter spilling out of the room it is being help in. At the Comalapa Air Base in El Salvador you could hear laughter from a long ways away at the moment shared between all of the people who attended the meeting that was there. The event held there was a meeting with local religious leaders for a conference. The laughing was due to the conference coordinator U.S. Army South Command Chaplain Col. James Boelens who tried very hard to speak Spanish. His smile was very wide as the laugher from the other people and he erupted and the light moment was something that was truly touching. In many ways, this is something that could bring great sentiment because of the experience being lighter and not depressing or other feelings that could immerse and instead being joyous in many different ways. A touch of laughter has shown through this meeting that it truly can do a person or many different people a great deal of good.
