Welders Are In High Demand In The U.S. Army

While all other companies are cutting back, shutting down and laying people off of work, the U.S. Army is growing by leaps and bounds in its efforts to defend America. Enlisted Underwater Divers Are Wanted Around The World

As an enlisted soldier of the U.S. Army interested in diving and welding, you will receive free scuba diving and deep sea diving training and training as a welder, in addition to basic military training. Your initial nine weeks of Basic Training will put you in the best physical and mental shape you have ever experienced, all while earning a paycheck. From there, you will attend 36 weeks of AIT (Advanced Individual Training).

Your AIT training consists of a three-week diving course. The diving course is held at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri and consists of academics, physical fitness training and pool training. Following your diving training, you will head to Panama City, Florida, for Common Engineer Training (CET) at the Naval Diving and Salvage Training Center. This 26-week course is an in-depth look at the physics of working underwater, light weight and deep sea surface supplied diving, demolitions, recompression chamber operation and maintenance, underwater cutting and welding hydraulic tool operation, underwater evacuation, river reconnaissance, underwater excavation, underwater ship husbandry, and underwater photography and basic ship salvage, just to name a few. With these skills, you will be highly paid and in demand wherever you go.

Warrant Officers Allied Trades Technicians Tackle The World

As an Allied Trade Technician, you will be in charge of the operation and maintenance of machine tools used around the world. You will be trained to be a leader, a mentor and a machine shop guru. All aspects of vehicle fabrication, painting, repair and glass will be taught as you collect your paycheck, housing, benefits and a retirement fund. You will supervise and conduct maintenance and recovery of wheeled and tracked equipment, direct shop inventory and ensure quality control. There isn’t a machine shop anywhere in the world that doesn’t need those skills, and you can get your training for free.

As a leader and manager, you will motivate, supervise and direct the activities of numerous skilled tradesmen, ensuring operation success and production control in a variety of shop environments. Your training will teach you about the basic principles of mechanics, shop mathematics, metals identification procedures and shop organization. These skilled will make you invaluable.
