Paid Training In Plumbing

USArmy.com-Plumber

Professional training can be hard to come by these days. College and vocational school tuition rates keep rising and your high school diploma won’t get you very far. Since Roman times, running water has been a luxury no one is willing to live without and you can develop a lucrative career as a plumber with paid training from the United States Army.

Counter to popular belief, the majority of Army jobs are not combat-related. In fact, less than 20% of all the jobs available through the military ever involve combat. The majority of these jobs are support operations. The military, like any city, requires the skills and services of doctors, lawyers, teachers, drivers, mechanics, electricians, and plumbers. In order to ensure your skills are the very best they can be, the Army is willing to pay for your training.

Fitness, Family, And Funding

As a member of the military, you can receive professional training, free housing, a food and clothing allowance, full medical and dental benefits, free and discounted travel and entertainment, and provide for your family while receiving a paycheck. The military community is a great place to raise a family. Your children can attend excellent schools and participate in on-base sports activities, Easter Egg Hunts, parades, and other community event opportunities.

You will be challenged to become your very best, physically, professionally, and socially. As you take advantage of paid continuing education opportunities, you will be promoted through the ranks and receive better paychecks and the recognition that comes with a job well done. This is not a civilian company trying to squeeze every penny out of its customers and employees. The Army has a bigger and better job to fulfill than that and you can be a part of this world-class team.

Career And Camaraderie

Not only will the Army pay for your training, provide you with housing and benefits, and keep you physically fit, they will also provide you with the opportunity to shine as a friend and a professional. The camaraderie experienced within the ranks of the Armed Forces cannot be matched by any civilian company. You will develop friendships and professional connections that will span the globe.

As you work with superiors and subordinates, you will develop leadership and teamwork skills, in addition to your professional expertise. These experiences will go with you no matter where you end up in or out of the military. If you decide to leave the Armed Forces at the end of your service agreement, you will quickly discover that employers often give preferential treatment to military applicants due to the wide range of experiences and state-of-the-art training you will bring with you.

Not Sure How To Begin?

Choosing a career is serious business. If you are unsure about what your natural skills and abilities are, the Army can provide you with testing and assessment services to help you identify areas where you are most likely to succeed. Once your area of expertise is identified, the military will provide you with cutting edge training. It’s a win-win situation.

One phone call is all it takes. Contact your nearest recruiter and start asking questions. You are sure to be surprised at the resources the military makes available to its service members. After the initial assessments, the military will send you to educational and vocational training sessions throughout your military career at their expense. You then get on-the-job experience that will look good on any resume.
