Does the army offer enough jobs?

What will it take to join the Army?

Quite contrary to what some may tell you, the formalities to enlist with the US Army have been made comparatively easier than before. Of course, like all other branches of the US Military, there are some basic, minimum requirements that you will be called upon to fulfill.

Here is a list of such requirements:

• Minimum 17 years but no more than 34.
• US citizen; certified ‘permanent resident alien’, or green card holder.
• High school diploma as minimum or equivalent.
• Good mental and physical condition with no chronic health issues and addictions (alcohol, drugs, etc.).
• Preferably single or no more than two children, if married.
• High ASVAB test score.
